Various communities in Kerala lacks proper amenities and social stigmas that are child friendly. Before even achieving proper mental and physical growth, these children are forcely thrown into abyss. LIA uplifts communities to realise the need of empowering kids and forging a sustainable ecosystem for them to grow.

Cancer will have it effects on the entire family. Children’s succumbs to a lot of feelings and emotions knowing that their close ones are suffering terminal illness. LIA has volunteered the program to empower these kids by providing mental health counselling, education and social amenities that support the future of kids.
LIA’s support a family initiative is rolled out to prevent children from being abandoned or losing proper parental care. Thousands of children in Kerala belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society especially in the tribal belts will be empowered by giving proper education till they become self-reliable.
Mental illness is a burden for families and societies. Be it social stigmas, access of mental health care facilities, lack of follow up treatments, there are several reasons for it. LIA intends to address the issues faced by the resource poor sections of the society and improve the effectiveness of communal living.
Cancer is one of the deadliest catastrophe humanity has been facing so far. What is more agony is the cost of treatment that comes along with it. Especially or the people below the poverty line. Through the network and the support groups, LIA provides support for patients in identifying the cause, cure and care for cancer.
