Basic sanitation plays a pivotal role in achieving better public health and reducing child mortality. By building proper sanitation, LIA intends to transform lives of people and build a healthier community, where its inhabitants can go to work, kids go to school and create opportunities for everyone.
Quality education is a fundamental element in empowering any tribal community. Today thousands of children, especially girls grow up today without proper education. By the program, LIA aims at helping children from tribal belts across Kerala to learn and write through most caring and child centered approach
Outreach activities like health camps are pivotal in countering prime diseases during the vulnerable climates, especially for the under resourced tribal belts who has less access to the outer world. Hence, LIA has initiated primary health care services including awareness programs, diagnosis camps, supplying medicines etc.
After identifying the overall hygiene quotient of the tribal villages, LIA supplies what is needed to make the community living better. The program aims at striking a balance between personal hygiene and health. These kits will include all the essentials needed for maintaining a healthy and clean lifestyle for the tribal community.
